Nice Generator there. It has a GX240 engine rated 7.1 HP at 3600 RPM with a bore of 73mm and stroke of 58mm. Sometime if you can, please show it running (2) 1500 Watt portable heaters. Make it grunt some. LOL

I agree, a 1500 watt load is not much on this generator, also I didn’t check the frequency on the video. I appreciate the comment, thanks.

A real test measures speed, voltage and current close to rated power. Look at Linn State Technical College load test for a Honda test.

$1300 doesn’t sound too bad. I’ve been trying to get the parents to buy a generator. National grid keeps laying people off around here … if the power goes out it’s going out for a while.

Wow that thing starts as awesome as my Briggs 3500W and Honda EM500 generators.
chatrkat you should check out my videos about them, Honda’s and Brigg’s are my favorite brand of engines!

nothin wrong with a good B&S either. I’m not too fond of the new ones tho.

the EG3500 is still a current model average $1300. +/- depending where you buy. BTW: I like the “tune up” vid you sent.
