4 Stars GREAT PRESSURE CLEANER/ HORRID CUSTOMER CARE
I purchased this pressure cleaner as I needed a commercial high powered cleaner for my work It came in the brand new box and required me: to install the wheels, pressure control nossle(do not forget to install spring,etc. under the black pressure nossle.(this was a problem as I could start the cleaner but no pressure was available until I put the pieces under the pressure valve, then it worked amazing..and correctly!)the book that came with the cleaner is a joke…..it’s so vague and said not one thing about how to install the pressure valve or anything else for that matter. I called Eastern tools to get help 8 times!!!!!!! No one ever called me back, I had to troubleshoot the problem myself. Once you hook up the pressure valve correctly, install garden hose to provide the water, install the high pressure hose, gun, put oil into BOTH OIL RESEVOIRES!!! “KEY….2 OIL RESEVOIRES NOT 1. put gas in and off you go. I need to buy longer hose, but other than that it works perfect, has more than enough pressure, great on gas and oil, and a great value as long as you don’t have to deal with Eastern tools tech department. 4 Stars Powerful, Great value, unclear instructions
Once you get this thing up and running, it’s great! But to get it up and running is the confusing part. The instructions seem to be straightforward, but the pictures are not clear, so you have to do some guessing and assuming. This was my first pressure washer, so there was a learning curve for me. But once I got everything right, this thing works great! the 3.5-4.0 GPM is incredible. I clean my driveway in minutes. It’s so powerful I even use it as a leaf and landscape blower. I received the item with a bent frame, but the motor and pump were undamaged. Surprisingly, there was no damage to the box.

As other reviews noted this is confusing to put together due to the manual. Once you lay out the parts you should have no problem. Unlike the first reviewer my pump was complete except for needing oil. I needed only to put on the wheels and hose holder. The pump is made by DANAU [..] and I believe it is model number 3WZ-1509A. DANAU also sells this same pressure washer, but the link to the documentation does not work. Harbor Freight also sells this same unit under the Pacific Hydrostar name. I actually saw this washer in their store and it is identical except it is equipped with a thermal relief value. If interested, you can download the manual from their web site. I did purchase a thermal relief value from Pressure Parts model number TPP140. The required value is the 1/2 inch model. The engine is manufactured by Loncin[..]and appears to be a Honda clone of the GX270. It is rated at 9HP and not the 10HP as specified in the product description. Unlike the first reviewer, the engine was equipped with a single oil reservoir. I believe his unit was supplied with some type of gear reduction. Overall quality is good. The hose and spay gun are of very good quality. The engine and pump run strong with the engine being much quieter than I anticipated. But I would highly suggest that you use different nozzle tips. The unit is supplied with 3.0 nozzle tips, which by pressure washer calculations is too small for this unit’s water flow. Attaching a pressure gauge (all testing was done with a 25 degree tip) I measured about 3,400 PSI with the supplied 3.0 nozzle tips. The engine labored and water flow in my opinion was nowhere close to 4.0 GPM. Using a 4.5 nozzle tip, the pressure dropped to 2,500 PSI, but water flow was greatly improved and the engine ran very strong. But the best combination for me was the 4.0 nozzle tip. With the 4.0 tip, pressure run over 2,800 PSI and water flow was great with the engine running very strong. In fact this combination almost blew the siding off my house (good thing the unit is equipped with an adjustable regulator). This unit is a great value for the price.
