There is a good deal of opium grown each year to make morphine and morphine derivatives. All drugs should be legal, well not illegal. We don’t need the government to protect us from ourselves. The war on drugs is a failure and production would go way down if it were legal because it the price would drop.

if they just legalize heroin for clincal use and it was made by a pharacutal company It would prevent a huge number of deaths from murder and od’s and crimanal quarnitines the world make the problem of all this violance not a issue and it would create jobs and then junkies might be able to get instead of getting help insted of making it inpossable to get a job they get turned back to the streets where all they have is heroin then mabe the cops could do some real work for like catching murders

Why do people even do heroin? Just plant some poppies and smoke a little opium now and then. No reason to get all crazy with it.

the us govt. accually knew that eliminating the talliban would increase the heroin production… and thats why they did it, the us govt thrives off the profits of opium/heroin, without it the us wouldeve failed and been eradicated many years ago… (but yet they still act like they tryin to stop the flow of heroin into this country, when in reality without the heroin there would be no usa.

From 2005-2007 opium production doubled.The links between heroin sales and the CIA,Mossad and MI6 is the real story but we do not hear that part.

exactly. heroin production in afghanistan actually rose OVER 200% when the u.s. military ousted the taliban…the taliban used to punish opium farmers with death and torching of their field..
